I’m wondering if I can download and install a stand-alone newer version of Acrobat with similar features that I have with Acobate XI Pro? I don’t want a yearly subscription. I only want to install a stand-alone, one license, version of a newer version of Acrobat.

Is that even possible now? I used to be able to call customer service for free and talk to them about what I had Acrobat v8, v9, vX, and vXI and they would help me with an update that I paid for over the phone and then was able to download the upgrade version. Acrobat is about the only Adobe app with the option of perpetual licenses.

Upgrade eligibility is 2 versions; you could have upgraded at reduced price to Acrobat or Acrobat , but Acrobat would now be full price.
